The Perils of Being a Left-Handed Person in a Right-Handed World
Let me just start by saying , being left-handed is not a choice . It’s just something we are born with. But apparently, it’s a trait that confuses and intimidates the right-handed majority of the world . As a lefty , I’ve had to face many perils and challenges in this right-handed world . And let me tell you , it’s not easy .
From the time we learn to write , We are forced to use right-handed desks and chairs. We have to contort our arms Awkwardly just to avoid bumping elbows with the person next to us . And don’t even get me started on the dreaded spiral notebooks . The Bane of every left-handed student’s existence . It’s a wonder we can even Write legibly at all .
But the struggles don’t end in the Classroom. In fact, being left-handed can be downright Dangerous in Certain situations . Take , for example , using scissors. Right-handed people Have no idea how easy they have it . They can just grab any pair of scissors and start cutting away . But for lefties, it’s a different story . We have to search for that one elusive pair of left-handed scissors , and if we can’t find them , we’re forced to use right-handed scissors and risk losing a finger or two.
And don’t even get me Started on using power tools . The instructions always seem to be written For right-handed people , leaving us…
