As you scroll through the vast sea of articles on Medium , you might wonder how writers end up on the platform , sharing their thoughts and insights with the world. Some might have pursued traditional paths in writing, while others , Like myself , have taken a more unconventional route. Before I became a writer on Medium, my journey Was filled with unexpected twists and turns that shaped my unique perspective on life and writing.
It all started with a childhood love for storytelling. As a young girl, I would spend hours creating imaginary worlds and weaving tales in my mind. Writing became my outlet, my escape from the mundane reality of everyday life. However , as I grew older , I was told that pursuing a career in writing was not practical or profitable . So, like many others, I followed a different path.
I embarked on a journey of self-exploration , trying out different roles and careers. From being a struggling actor to a corporate professional, I dabbled in various fields, searching for my true calling. Despite finding success in some of these roles , a part of me always longed to return to my first love writing.
